SANDRA “SANDY” LEE BALDWIN

                       Sandra Lee Baldwin age 76 of Harrison passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 1, 2023, at Americana Senior Center-Clare. Sandra was born June 20, 1946, in Chicago, Illinois the daughter of Clifton Lewis Chappell and Francis Naomi (Knox) Chappell. Sandy graduated from Everett High School, Lansing, Michigan in 1964. Sandra was united in marriage to Mr. Martin D. Baldwin on August 29, 1964. Mr. Baldwin preceded Sandy in death on September 27, 2022, after fifty-eight years of marriage.

            Mrs. Baldwin had resided in Harrison since 1971, moving from Holt, Michigan. Sandy spent thirty plus years as a home childcare specialist as well as assisting her husband with the family barber shop. Sandy enjoyed bowling, painting, crafting, visiting local thrift stores looking for the “good deal”, yearly Elvis Fest events and Old Fashion Days, floral gardening, making her famous fruit jams and scratch off lottery tickets.

            Surviving Mrs. Baldwin are her four loving children: Kristen Baldwin-Smith of Harrison, Lisa Zinn and husband Don of Harrison, Brian Baldwin and wife Darcy of Mt. Pleasant, Michigan and Matt Baldwin and Genevieve Wolfrum of Harrison, five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, three sisters: Sylvia McCullough of Lansing, Michigan, Linda Robbins of Lansing, and Marty Taylor also of Lansing, plus many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family. Sandra also was preceded in death by her parents, one granddaughter, Katie Geroux and one great-granddaughter, Kayla Lee Geroux and two sisters: Gayle and Jeanetta.

            Celebration of Life services honoring Sandy will be held Saturday, January 14, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. from Clark-Stocking Funeral Chapel and Cremation Service, 165 W. Oak St., Harrison. Family and friends are encouraged to share memories on Saturday, January 14, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. until time of service.
