RONALD “RON” LEE KROCKER

                Ronald “Ron” Lee Krocker age 83 of rural Harrison passed away peacefully on Monday, March 28, 2022 at MyMichigan Medical Center-Clare. Ronald was born June 6, 1938 in Detroit, Michigan the son of Cornelius and Hilda (Pugsley) Krocker. Ron graduated high school in 1956 from Harrison High School. Mr. Krocker honorably served his country in the United States Army Reserves for over eight years.

                Ron had resided his entire lifetime in Harrison. Working at the Agricultural office just after high school. Mr. Krocker was united in marriage to Lena Belle DeBarr on October 14, 2000 in Harrison. Lena preceded Ron in death on October 20, 2015 after fifteen years of marriage. Mr. Krocker was a farmer for the majority of his lifetime. Ron enjoyed spending his free time hunting, fishing, playing softball on various men’s leagues throughout Clare County, listening to audio books, gathering around the dinner table with family for a homecooked meal as well as he was considered by his family as a connoisseur of sweets and snacks. Ron’s greatest pleasure was spending time with his grandchildren, great-grandchildren.

                Surviving Mr. Krocker are his three children; Ranee Krocker of Harrison, Ronald C. Krocker of Saginaw and Donald Krocker and wife Barbara Hansen of Harrison, four grandchildren; Thomas Krocker, Robin Jesse, Pam Krocker and Jacob Krocker, six great-grandchildren; Adam and Ryan Henry, Shawn Robins, Cody Robins and Aden Krocker and Brooklyn Krocker, plus many nieces, nephews and extended family. Mr. Krocker also was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Cheri Krocker, one granddaughter, Erica Henry, one brother, Merle Lee and two step -sisters Irene (Root) Vlier and Faye Ann Root, also two step-brothers; Ota “Putt” Root and Stanley Root Sr.

                Visitation services for Mr. Krocker will be held Sunday, April 3, 2022 from 12:30-1:30 p.m. with a committal service immediately following. Burial will take place at Hatton Township Cemetery, Clare. Memorial gifts in memory of Mr. Krocker may be considered to the Krocker Family.
