Roger Lynn Ehle, age 89, of Harrison went home to be with his Lord on Friday, September 9, 2022, at Meridian Acres in Sanford under the care of Care Team Hospice.

Funeral Services for Roger will be held at Clark-Stocking Funeral Chapel in Harrison on Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at 12 noon with Rusty Moe officiating. Interment with military honors will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. A Luncheon will follow the committal service at the VFW Post 475. The family will receive friends on Monday, September 12, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Visitation will continue the day of the service from 11 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Care Team Hospice. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.

Roger was born on November 4, 1932, in Gladwin County, son of Walter H. and Lula L. (Adelblue) Ehle and he joined with his brother, Alfred, and sister, Alma, to form their family, all of whom preceded Roger in death. Roger graduated from Gladwin High School with the class of 1950. On Christmas Day 1952, Roger married Patsy R. Moe.  He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict from 1953 to 1954, rising to the rank of Sargent. After a long career as a Journeyman Toolmaker, Roger retired from General Motors. He was a member of Local 699. Roger loved cars and driving across the back roads of Michigan and Florida. He and Patsy wintered in Florida for 26 years. He enjoyed attending boat, car, and airplane shows. Family was the most important part of his life. 

Roger is survived by his wife, Patsy; five children, Teri L. (James) McGuire, Alan D. (Patrice) Ehle, Robert G. (Diane) Ehle, Julie A. Ehle, and Patrick L. (Deborah) Ehle; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and extended family and friends.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents; in-laws, Ezra C. and Gladys L. (Stowits) Moe; brother-in-law Francis C. Jesse.
