ROBERT EARL TOWNSEND

                Robert Earl Townsend 71 of Harrison passed away at his home on Tuesday, January 19, 2021. Robert was born September 19, 1949 in Hamilton Township, Michigan the son of Alfred and Betty Jane (Bigelow) Townsend.

                Mr. Townsend had resided in Harrison since 2008, moving from Lansing, Michigan. Earl enjoyed fishing, leather crafting, car shows and visiting various casinos throughout Michigan.

                Surviving Robert is his brother, Alfred William Townsend and wife Anne of Gladwin, Michigan, two nieces; Melissa Townsend of Harrison and Kimberly Sue Harrington of Texas, several cousins and extended family members. Mr. Townsend was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Ruth Harrington and one nephew,  Little Rocky Harrington.

                Memorial services for Mr. Townsend will be held later this year at the family property.
