ROBERT “BOB” DUANE WOOTEN

                Robert “Bob” Duane Wooten 64 of Lake George, Michigan passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, April 2, 2021. Robert was born October 8, 1956 in Lansing, Michigan the son of Thomas Hart Sr. and Shirley (Haudenschield) Hart. Robert graduated from Lansing Eastern High School in 1976. After graduation, Bob enlisted with the United States Marine Corps and honorably served his country during the Vietnam War. Bob had resided in Lake George for most of his life, moving from Lansing.

                Mr. Wooten was an avid painter, specializing in murals. He also enjoyed reading, playing cards, singing karaoke, bird watching, hobby crafting, watching televised football games and spending time with his family and friends.

                Surviving Mr. Wooten is his father, Thomas Hart Sr. of Haslett, Michigan, companion and mate, Cheryl Ann Sehy of Harrison, two brothers: Darwin Hart and wife Kelly and son DJ Hart Jr of Perry, Michigan and Thomas Hart and wife Chris of Nashville, Tennessee, one aunt, Judy Burgen of Lake George, one uncle, Robert Burgen of Lansing, one step-daughter, Jennifer Sehy of Harrison, two step-sons: Thomas Sehy of Harrison and Adam Carlton also of Harrison, eight grandchildren: Chealsie, Zachary, Jasmin, Kelsie, Tyler, Trenton, Gage and Bently, one great grandson, Liam, special cousins: Karla, Bryan, Jessie, Phil, Tina, Jeff, Amanda and many more, and special friends: Bob and Ann Prieskorn, James and Deonna Weston, Pat and Dale Tuttle, Amy Payne, Holly Vanepp and Amber Chasten. Mr. Wooten was preceded in death by his mother, one brother, Richard Wooten and niece, Brandy Hart.

                Memorial services honoring Bob will be held Saturday, April 10, 2021 at New Beginnings Church, Lake George, with Pastor Robert Hubble officiating. Military honors will be presented to Robert immediately following services. Inurnment will be in Lincoln Township Cemetery, Lake George.
