Richard Frederick Pawloski, aged 86 passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at his home in Harrison. Richard was born January 21, 1934 in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Richard was united in marriage to Ms. Patricia Collins on May 22, 1954 at 1st Baptist Church of Royal Oak, Michigan. Mrs. Pawloski preceded Richard in death on June 23, 2017.

                Richard joined the Navel Air Reserve and spent one weekend a month at Grosse Isle Naval Air Station, where he served for eight years. He took classes in Aviation Mechanics. Richard graduated from the Chrysler Institute of Engineering for body drafting. Richard retired from Williams International in 1996 in Walled Lake, Michigan. Richard and Pat moved to Harrison in 1997. They were members of First Baptist Church Harrison since 2000. Richard enjoyed working with wood and built many clocks and toys for his family and friends.

                Surviving Mr. Pawloski are his four children; Ric (Vicki) Pawloski of St. Joseph, Michigan, Lora (Al) Gilbert of Harvest, Alabama, Beth Hill of Troy, Michigan and Michael Pawloski of Westland, Michigan, numerous grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and several extended family members. Richard also was preceded in death by his parents.

                Funeral services honoring Mr. Pawloski will be held Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. from First Baptist Church, 3088 Mostetler Road, Harrison, with Pastor Tim Tanner officiating. A time of gathering will take place Tuesday, from 12:00 p.m. until time of service. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Harrison.
