Register Now for Summer Courses at Mid

Posted

Registration for summer courses at Mid Michigan College is available now, with courses starting Monday, May 24.

The latest guidance from the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services allows for in-person courses on college campuses. Mid’s courses are scheduled to take place on-campus and remotely through a variety of delivery methods utilizing the latest technologies.

“The health and safety of our campus community is our top concern as we plan for the upcoming semester,” said Karry Kiste-Toner, AVP of Student Success at Mid. “We continue to safely welcome students to campus with social distancing and appropriate safety precautions in place.”

In addition to courses on campus, Mid is offering a wide-array of courses and credentials that can be completed online with formats that provide the ultimate in flexibility for students who are working, caring for family members, and adjusting to pandemic-related challenges and restrictions.

“Summer courses are a great way for students to pick up a few credits and stay on track toward graduation,” explained Kiste-Toner. “Even if students are attending another university, our transfer-friendly options make it easy to earn budget-conscious credits prior to the fall semester.”

The College is also offering a mix of on-campus and online resources and academic support services to help students succeed. From one-on-one help registering for courses to remote academic support, and access to loaner hotspot internet access devices, and no-cost mental health counseling, Mid is continuing to support student success through a variety of methods.

Prospective students can apply online at midmich.edu/apply or contact Admissions at admissions@midmich.edu or (989) 386-6661.
