REBECCA ANN CRANE

Rebecca Ann Crane, age 80, of Haslett passed away Monday, August 15, 2022, at Brookdale Meridian. A visitation to celebrate her life will be held from 2:00 - 4:00 PM on Tuesday, August 23, 2022, at Watkins Brothers Funeral Homes, Jennings~Lyons Chapel, 520 West Main Street, Owosso, MI 48867. Interment held at Oak Hill Cemetery in Owosso.

Becky was born October 25, 1941, in Owosso, Michigan, the daughter of Victor E. and Evelyn K. (Theile) Moiles. She was a graduate of Owosso High School. She married James Crane on January 28, 1972, in Corunna. They raised their family in Meridian Township. Becky worked for the Michigan Funeral Directors Association until her retirement. She was a very dedicated employee and felt a strong purpose to help others. Upon their retirement they moved to Harrison to enjoy fishing and playing golf. They became members of the Moose Lodge #2235 and found another way to serve the community through the organization. She made many new friends as a member of the Red Hats Society and enjoyed playing cards with the ladies. They moved back to Haslett after 15 years to spend more time with family, especially their grandchildren. James passed away January 12, 2017, just shy of celebrating 45 years together.

Rebecca is survived by her children; Cathy (Steve Parks) Crane, Jill Crane, and Bart (Emiley) Crane, her grandchildren; Madisen, Riley, and Peyton Crane, and her brother; Victor E. “Butch” (Vicki) Moiles. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James, her infant daughter, Sybil Elizabeth Crane, and her brother, Johnny Moiles.
