Reader Hoping for Changes in BOC

I am watching the elections at a local level because of all the disturbance nationally. While I don’t align with one party or the other, I have no political motive.

First, I’ve been watching the county commissioners. It looks like during redistricting they added two commissioners to Clare County. Maybe that is a good idea.

I noticed that commissioner Stephanie Brown is M.I.A (my area). She doesn’t attend any meetings. I would like to know if she is still drawing a paycheck for being a commissioner?

Sandy Bristol pays more attention to what the people running for office are doing and micromanaging them instead of tending to county business.

Why are we paying these people? We need to look locally this year and get people elected that are going to WORK for us and not just draw a paycheck or act important.
