Paul Eugene Conrad Sr.

Paul Eugene Conrad Sr., of Harrison, MI passed away on Monday April 3, 2023. Paul was born in Lansing, MI and served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. Paul retired from the city of East Lansing where he was a mechanic and was a resident of Harrison since 1982. Paul drove the bus for the Clare County Transit for 15 years. Paul enjoyed riding motorcycles, camping, and quad racing in his younger years. Paul was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Conrad, mother Dorcas (Rupner), brother Robert Conrad, and sister Gerry Warne. Paul is survived by his wife of thirty-two years, Julie Conrad, sons Greg Conrad (Diane) and Paul Conrad (Storm) of Harrison, Doug Conrad (Penny) of Farwell, and stepson Darrel Hines (Shannon) of Harrison, several grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Per Paul’s wishes he will be cremated, and a memorial is being planned at a later date.
