Patricia Joan Scherrer

Patricia Joan Scherrer, age 82, of Harrison, MI, passed on to her heavenly home on Sunday, June 27, 2021, in Houghton Lake. Patricia was born November 8, 1938 in Van Dyke, MI, the daughter of Peter and Anna Franz, then later moved to Roseville, MI where she met and married John Scherrer, her husband of 27 years. They had 4 children and moved to Harrison, MI where they enjoyed owning horses, camping and flying small aircraft in the local flying club.

Patricia will be greatly missed by family and friends. She is survived by her loving children Susan Scherrer of Harrison, Donald (Christine) Scherrer of Clare, Michael (Sandra) Scherrer of Harrison, and Linda Scherrer of Cedar Springs, MI; grandchildren Gabriel (Mary) Sweeney, Thomas Krocker, Adam (Mia) Scherrer, Jessica Scherrer, Steven Scherrer, and Samantha Green; several great grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Anna and Peter Franz; her granddaughter Genevieve Sweeney; her grandson Benjamin Green; her brother Michael Franz; her sister Elizabeth Moore; and nephew Rick Moore. Patricia’s family has chosen to remember her privately at this time. Arrangements have been entrusted to Wagner and Walsh Funeral Directors, Roscommon.
