NORMA JEAN HALTER

                Norma Jean Halter 89 of rural Harrison passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, September 12, 2020. Norma was born April 20, 1931 in Mishawaka, Indiana, the daughter of Arthur and Bernice (Workman) Clem. Norma was united in marriage to Mr. Edward Eugene Halter on June 11, 1949 in Goshen, Indiana. Mr. Halter preceded Norma in death on August 15, 2003 after fifty-four years of marriage.

                Mrs. Halter had resided in rural Harrison since 1988, moving from Eastpointe, Michigan. Norma was very fond of her home and property, as she enjoyed spending all of her time there. She also enjoyed floral gardening, interior decorating and cooking.

                Surviving Norma are her four loving daughters; Victoria Lyscas and husband Bob of Pinkney, Michigan, Debra Jean Johnson and husband Doug of Lake, Michigan, Linda Sue Hodges and husband Dave of New Baltimore, Michigan and Lori Jo Adkins and husband Foster of North Street, Michigan, nine grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, one great great-grand daughter, one sister, Shirley Hipsher and husband Gene of Mishawaka, Indiana, two brothers; Edward Workman and wife Nola of Utah and Randall Workman and wife Karen of Weeki Wachee, Florida, many nieces, nephews and extended family members. Norma also was preceded in death by her parents.

                Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Halter will be held Thursday, September 17, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. from Cadillac Memorial Gardens East, Clinton Township, Michigan with Pastor Kelly Iseman officiating. A Time of visitation will take place on Thursday, September 17, 2020 from 2:00-3:00 p.m. at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East Cemetery Chapel. Burial will be in Cadillac Memorial Gardens East Cemetery.
