Carrying a Concealed Weapon
CLARE, MICH. On September 30, 2020 at 6:30 a.m. a trooper from the Mount Pleasant Post stopped a vehicle for a speed violation on US-127 near Clarabella Road in Vernon Township, Isabella County.
The driver and lone occupant was a 22-year-old North Carolina man. During the stop the driver told the trooper he had a handgun in the vehicle and that he did not possess a concealed pistol license. The man was placed under arrest and lodged at the Isabella County Jail pending arraignment.
