Mary Cline age 94 of Harrison passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, September 21, 2024. Mary was born Agnes Marie Lucille LeBoeuf (nicknamed Mary) in Barrie, Ontario, Canada on December 9, 1929, the daughter of Blaise LeBoeuf and Lucille (Campeau) LeBoeuf. Mary was united in marriage to Mr. Lorne Timothy Cline on February 18, 1950. Soon after her marriage, Mary became a naturalized US Citizen. After raising twelve children in the Detroit area and Hadley, Michigan, Mary and Lorne moved to Harrison in 1989 as retirees.
Throughout the years, Mary volunteered through her church women’s group and Habitat for Humanity. Mary spent many years sewing baby blankets and burp cloths for several baby pantries. Mary enjoyed spending her free time knitting, gardening, feeding her birds, baking special treats for her family and friends and being surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Cline is survived by her eight children; Anne (Ross) Smith of Flat Rock, Michigan, Susan (Robert III) Hayman of Richmond, Kentucky, Beth Musser of Scottville, Michigan, Michael Cline of Harrison, Kenneth (Jayla) Cline of Metamora, Michigan, Daniel (Kim) Cline of Columbiaville, Michigan, Christopher Cline of Harrison and Mary (Ted) Rigterink of West Olive, Michigan, one daughter-in-law, Judy Cline of Midland, Michigan, two sons-in-law; Ron (Janet) Wysocki of Northville, Michigan and Stephen Howell of Taylor, Michigan, numerous grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, several great-great grandchildren, one sister, Therese Anne Czap of Sidney, British Colombia, plus many nieces, nephews and extended family. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Lorne, four children; Joan Wysocki, Patricia Howell, Timothy Cline and John Cline, two daughters-in-law; Sarah Cline and Merri Cline and one brother, Thomas A. LeBoeuf.
A Funeral Mass celebrating Mary will be held Monday, October 14, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. from St. Irenaeus Catholic Church, 771 Old Perch Road, Rochester Hills, Michigan 48309, with Father Gerard LeBoeuf officiating. Inurnment will be in St. Athanasius Catholic Cemetery, Harrison. Memorial gifts in memory of Mary may be considered to the Charity of Choice.
