                Martha Ann Davis 93 of Harrison passed away peacefully on Friday, October 16, 2020, surrounded by her loving family. Martha was born September 12, 1927 in Flint, Michigan the daughter of Henry Clay Davis and Velma Mildred (Bailey) Davis. Martha graduated from Flint Northern High School in 1945. She furthered her education and attended Mid Michigan Community College for two years obtaining her associate’s degree in secretarial science.

                Ms. Davis had resided in Harrison since 1975, moving from Houghton Lake. Martha worked several years at the Michigan Department of Natural Resources Fire Office of Harrison. She was passionate about her beloved Frank Sinatra, spending countless years listening to his music. Martha enjoyed watching and feeding her Cardinals, watching old movies, especially repeated viewings of Gone with the Wind.

                Surviving Ms. Davis are her beloved five children; Diane Lynn Tompkins of Houghton Lake, Christine Ann Willey also of Prudenville, John Clay Parker of Houghton Lake, Alan Charles Parker and wife Michele of Gladwin, and James Scott Parker and wife Stephanie of Harrison, fifteen grandchildren and twenty-five great-grandchildren. Martha was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Karen Sue Parker.

                Funeral services honoring Ms. Davis will be held Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at 7:30 p.m. from Stocking Funeral Home, Harrison. A time of visitation will take place on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Inurnment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, Evart, Michigan.
