Marlene Joy Robinson 81 of Harrison, passed away her home on Thursday, July 25, 2019. Marlene was born April 26, 1938 in Francisco, Indiana the daughter of Wayne Harrison Beasley and Elaine Iris (Hyslop) Beasley. Marlene graduated from Utica High School, Utica, Michigan in 1956. Marlene enlisted in the United States Air Force and honorably served her country.

            Marlene had resided in Harrison since 1972, moving from Walled Lake, Michigan. For many years she was a real estate agent for Beasley Real Estate of Harrison and Jerry Brandt Realty also of Harrison. In later years, Marlene owned and operated Old 27 Art Depot of Harrison for several years. When Marlene wasn’t working, she enjoyed spending her time bowling, cooking, baking, reading novels and crafting. She also enjoyed growing gourds and turning them into beautiful pieces of art. Marlene enjoyed taking trips to Florida, spending time making memories with her daughter Robin and family.

            Surviving Ms. Robinson are her two daughters; Donna Rae Reed and husband Tim of Harrison and Robin Pappas and husband Andrew of Plantation, Florida, six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, one sister, Jessica Latowski and husband Dennis of Harrison and one brother, Ronald Beasley and wife Kay of Lakeland, Florida, many nieces, nephews and close friends. Marlene was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Sandra Keckler.

            Life Celebration services honoring Marlene will be held Sunday, August 11, 2019 from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. at Stocking Funeral Home, Harrison, with military honors presented by: American Legion Post 404 Honor Guard.
