        Marjorie Anna Wilson 87 of Harrison passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 4, 2019 at St. Mary Mercy Hospital of Livonia, Michigan. Marjorie was born September 6, 1932 in Bad Axe, Michigan the daughter of Frederick and Estella (Osowski) Kuntze. Marjorie was a graduate of Bad Axe High School, Bad Axe, Michigan in 1950. Marjorie was employed with the State of Michigan as an Administrator with the Department of Social Services statewide third party liability for over many decades. On November 11, 1984 in Port Austin, Michigan, Marjorie was united in marriage to Mr. Richard “Dick” G. Wilson. Mr. and Mrs. Wilson moved to Harrison in 1993, coming from Lansing, Michigan and previously from Bad Axe. On April 5, 2006, Mr. Wilson preceded Marjorie in death after twenty-one years of marriage.

        Mrs. Wilson was a member of Beaverton United Methodist Church, Beaverton, a life member of the Order of the Eastern Star, where she was past-Worthy Matron for several chapters throughout Michigan, a member of The Order of the Eastern Star #408 of Harrison, and a member of The Martin-Shirey Grand Family Club M&S Mariners. She was also a member of The Order of White Shrine of Jerusalem-Houghton Lake Shrine #61 and past-Worthy High Priestess for numerous White Shrines throughout Michigan, and the head of Wilson-Kerr Grand Shrine. Many will remember Marjorie for her gracious donation of over 2000 hats and scarves that she lovingly knitted throughout the years and donated to many charities throughout Clare County.

        Surviving Mrs. Wilson are her three sons; David E. Kerr and wife Vickie of Harrison, Mark R. Kerr and wife Kimberlynn of Bad Axe and Paul W. Kerr also of Bad Axe, one step-son, Richard Wilson and wife Stephanie of Nashville, Michigan, twenty grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren, plus many nieces and nephews. Marjorie also was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Steven F. Kerr, two step-daughters; Genevieve Reeves and Linda Cary and two brothers; Vernon Kuntze and Earl Kuntze.

        Order of the Eastern Star memorial service will take place on Sunday, October 13, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. under the auspices of the Order of the Eastern Star #408 of Harrison. Funeral services honoring Mrs. Wilson will be held Sunday, October 13, 2019 at 12:30 p.m. from Stocking Funeral Home, Harrison with Pastor Lynn Chappell of Beaverton United Methodist Church officiating. Visitation will take place on Sunday, October 13, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. until time of services. Burial will take place on Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Colfax Cemetery, Colfax Township, Michigan.
