Farwell Man Arrested in Dairy Queen Break-In

On 5-25-21 Mr. Robert Wade was charged by the Clare County Prosecutor’s Office with:  Breaking and Entering a Building W/Intent; Larceny in a Building; and Attempted Safe Breaking. He was arraigned in 80th District Court by Magistrate Steven Worpell and his bond was set at $60,000 10%. He remains lodged in the Clare County Jail.

On 05-24-21 at approximately 8:00 a.m. Deputies responded to the report a breaking and entering at the Dairy Queen in Hayes Township. Deputies learned that around 1:00 a.m. that morning a 28 year old Farwell man had broken into the Dairy Queen and attempted to get into the safe and cash register. He was able to be identified and was arrested later the same day. He remains lodged in the Clare County Jail pending review of charges by the Clare County Prosecutor’s Office.
