LORIE LYNN ADKINS

        Lorie Lynn Adkins 55 of Harrison passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, December 9, 2020. Lorie was born January 7, 1965 in Lansing, Michigan the daughter of James Norton and Sandra (Wallis) Norton. Lorie graduated from Harrison High School.

                Lorie had resided in Harrison since 1980, moving from Lansing. She enjoyed puzzles, puzzle books, reading, poetry, journaling, listening to music, building and collecting doll houses, watching paranormal shows, cooking and baking. Lorie loved and adored her grandchildren, she cherished every moment spent with them.

                Ms. Adkins is survived by her three daughters; Crystelle Kenney and husband Brandon of Heartland, Michigan, Nicole Heiser and husband Jason of Harrison and Casey Ketner of Clio, Michigan, her parents; James and Sandra Norton of Harrison, six grandchildren; Emma, Evan, Mark, August, Avona and Carter, two brothers; Michael Adkins and wife Cindy of Harrison and Robert “BJ” Norton also of Harrison, many nieces, nephews, lifelong friend, Andrea Ketner of Mt. Pleasant, Michigan and her beloved cat, “Mr. Whiskers.”

                Life Celebration services honoring Lorie will be held at a later date. Memorial gifts in memory of Lorie may be considered to the Adkins Family.
