LORENA JEAN ENGEL

                Lorena Jean Engel 79 of Harrison passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, July 18, 2021. Lorena was born December 26, 1941, in Pontiac, Michigan the daughter of Paul and Charlotte (Wilder) Grimes.

                Lorena was united in marriage to Mr. Edward B. Engel Jr. on April 15, 1967, in Lansing, Michigan. Mrs. Engel moved to Harrison in 2017, coming from Lansing, Michigan. Lorena was a member of Greater Lansing Seventh-day Adventist Church for many years, where she was very involved with helping as a lunchroom worker at the church school. She enjoyed taking road trips with her husband, Edward.

                Surviving Mrs. Engel is her loving husband and best friend of fifty-four years, Mr. Edward B. Engel Jr. of Harrison, three children: Marjorie Alexander and husband Todd of Lapeer, Michigan; David Scott Engel and wife Nancy of Minnesota; and Kelly Engel of Nebraska; eight grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and numerous extended family members. Mrs. Engel was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Amy Engel.
