Local Parishes Hold Catholic Summer Book Clubs

Living in central Michigan, summers are a very busy time for families. With vacations and outdoor activities, it is difficult to plan for a one-week vacation bible school event that will meet the needs of many families.  As an alternative, we’ve planned something different! Beginning June 20th at St Athanasius Church, age appropriate Catholic Summer Book Clubs will meet weekly through the  summer! When vacations or other activities arise, participants can continue reading on their own, and rejoin the club when their schedules allow. 

We will listen and/or read together and discuss entertaining, yet quality faith building fiction. Related activities and games will add to the fun. Older youth might enjoy a book and faith discussion around a bonfire! All are welcome.
