MMCAA Lauded for Actions
I was down in Farwell for the first in-person meeting of the Mid-Michigan Community Action Agency Board of Directors since the Coronavirus pandemic began. Our meeting was a breath of fresh air. With all that has seemingly been going wrong in the world recently, it was wonderful to hear good news. I was especially proud when I heard of all the amazing work that we as a Community Action Agency have been doing to help the people of Gladwin and Midland counties in their recovery efforts.
MMCAA has been a leader in making sure that those impacted by the recent flooding have what they need to recover and rebuild. I want to personally thank MMCAA Executive Director Jill Sutton and all of her hardworking staff for the countless hours that they have put in to help our fellow Michiganders. Their exemplary work is proof once again, that if a group of people work together for the betterment of their community, there is nothing that cannot be accomplished.
While there is still a lot of work to be done to help our neighbors return to a sense of normalcy, I feel it is important to take a moment to thank them for all that they have done. Thank you!
