Letter to the Editor-District 6 Candidate Thankful

I would like to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart from District 6 for your support and hard work at the Aug. 4 election.  It was a tight race with four people including the incumbent running for the one seat of county commissioner. 

I know the workers went well into the night and the next day counting the ballots over and over again to make sure they got it right. I need to thank our county workers for this difficult and laborious task.  I understand they counted the ballots three times!  The incumbent has requested a recount which is his constitutional right. This will happen, I understand, on Aug. 17.  Please be assured that if I am confirmed I will listen to your needs and always work very hard for you.
