KRISTI JO WINKLER

Kristi Jo Winkler 59 of Harrison passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 surrounded by her family. Kristi was born July 3, 1961 in Stanwood, Michigan the daughter of John William Winkler and Nora Lou (Olsen) Winkler.

                Kristi had resided in Harrison since 1990, moving from Mecosta. She co-owned and operated Bucilli’s Pizza of Harrison most of her life and currently was employed at Smokin’ Hot Tanning Salon of Harrison. Kristi enjoyed crafting, playing Bingo, shopping, floral gardening, spending time at the beach, meeting new friends, expressing her home decorating talents. Her most treasured moments were spent with family, Gerry and friends.

                Surviving Kristi are her two daughters; Marlene Marie Wright of Harrison and Michelle Lynn Henry also of Harrison, fiancé and love of her life, Gerard “Gerry” P. Gonzalez Barillas of Harrison, five grandchildren; Shayla Henry, Seth Henry, Kaitlyn Pell, Emma Snyder and Ava Snyder, one sister, Susan Baumann and husband Don of Grand Rapids, Michigan, plus many nieces, nephews, extended family members and many close friends and customers. Kristi was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Sonya Winkler and two brothers; Kurt Winkler and Michael Winkler.

                Visitation and a time of sharing for Kristi will be held Monday, December 14, 2020 from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Hope Baptist Church, 3315 East Townline Lake Road, Harrison. Kristi’s family has requested that floral arrangements be given to honor Kristi’s love of flowers and nature.
