KEITH “GOOCH” WAYNE GOOCH

Keith “Gooch” Wayne Gooch 56 of Harrison passed away suddenly at his home on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 28, 2019. Keith was born January 17, 1963 in Indianapolis, Indiana the son of Maurice Lourn Gooch and Pauline (Roberts) Gooch. On October 27, 1986 in Pompano Beach, Florida, Keith was united in marriage to Ms. June B. Chezem.

                Mr. Gooch had resided in Harrison since 1990, moving from Pompano Beach, Florida. His smile, laugh and jokes made him the “life of the party.” You could always count on him to tell it to you straight. Keith enjoyed the outdoors and got nearly all of his nieces and nephews involved in mudding and two-trekking! Gooch was full of life and loved his family endlessly. Gooch was also well-known as a hardworking man. Over the years his hands touched buildings throughout Clare County and throughout the United States.

                Surviving Mr. Gooch is his wife and best friend of over thirty-three years, Mrs. June B. Gooch of Harrison, one son, Jacob Gooch and Carissa Clark of Harrison, one daughter, Desirae
Gooch and Luke Vanica of Harrison, his mother, Pauline Gooch of Monroe, Michigan, five grandchildren; Nevaeh Butts, Carson Butts, Kyron Gooch, Maverick Gooch and Caleb Vanica, three sisters; Diane Faff of Ottawa Lake, Michigan, Debbie Maniaci of Monroe, Michigan and Darlene Gooch also of Monroe, three brothers; John Gooch and wife Amy of Otsego, Michigan, Bill Gooch and wife Robin of Harrison and Allan Gooch and wife Mary of Estes Park, Colorado, three brothers in-law, plus many nieces, nephews and extended family members. Keith was preceded in death by his father and one sister, Donna Cornell.
