KATHERINE CHARLENE GONZALES

Katherine Charlene Gonzales, age 56 of Harrison passed away on Thursday, January 5, 2023. Per her wishes, cremation will take place with no services scheduled at this time.

Katherine was born March 13, 1966 in Chicago, Illinois to parents James and Emma (Kincaid) Buzbee. On March 4, 1993, she was united in marriage to her husband, Christopher Gonzales in Lansing, Michigan. Together, they grew their family to include three children. In her downtime, Katherine enjoyed watching various movies and TV series, coloring in adult coloring books and watching the birds- Hummingbirds were her favorite. Her children and grandchildren were at the center of her world, and spending time with them brought her much joy.

Surviving Mrs. Gonzales is her husband of 28 years, Christopher Gonzales Sr.; children: Christopher Gonzales Jr. of Lansing, Michigan, Brandy (Micah) Edwards of Lansing, Michigan, Brittanye Gonzales of St. Johns, Michigan; mother: Emma Buzbee of Harrison, Michigan; sisters: Kimberly (Jeff) Kenny of Lansing, Michigan, Paula “Renee” O’Berry of Lansing, Michigan; eight grandsons; 2 granddaughters; along with many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Katherine was preceded in death by her father, James Paul Buzbee.
