KAREN “CRAZY KAREN” ANN BRANDT

                Karen “Crazy Karen” Ann Brandt 52 of Harrison passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at MidMIchigan Medical Center-Midland. Karen was born March 5, 1967 in Fort Bragg, North Carolina the daughter of Belinda Gail (Lixey) Sprague and Dennis Gene Sprague. Karen was united in marriage to Mr. Kevin James Brandt on January 27, 2007 in Harrison.

                Karen had resided in Harrison since 2007, moving from Flint, Michigan. She spent thirteen years cleaning homes for many residents of Harrison and prior to starting her own business, she was employed at the Remedy Restaurant of Harrison for over fifteen years. Karen was a member of the Women of The Moose Harrison Chapter 1804. Karen loved riding Harley’s, cruising in her H3 Hummer, target shooting, traveling and spoiling her beloved pet pigs and chickens. 

                Surviving Karen is her husband of thirteen years, Kevin James Brandt of Harrison, her parents; Dennis “Denny” and Gail Sprague of Harrison, one son, Josh Marsh of North Branch, Michigan, four daughters; Jamie Doherty of Flint, Rebecca Northrup-Lovejoy also of Flint, Jaime Martin of Georgia and Devin Lewis of Flint, one sister, Abby Marcus and husband Tim of Harrison, many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family members and her beloved farm animals.

                Funeral services celebrating “Crazy Karen” will be held Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. from Stocking Funeral Home, Harrison with Pastor Chuck Lixey officiating. Visitation will take place on Saturday, February 1, 2020 from 12:00 p.m. until time of service. Memorial gifts in memory of Karen may be considered to the Brandt family, in care of: Kevin J. Brandt.
