                Judy Ann Lavens age 74 of Harrison passed away Thursday, January 6, 2022, at MyMichigan Medical Center-Midland. Judy was born March 18, 1947, in Mount Clemens, Michigan, the daughter of Thomas W. Lavens Sr. and Betty J. Lavens.  Judy had resided in Harrison since 1966, moving from Mount Clemens. Judy was a member of St. Athanasius Catholic Church, Harrison for many years.

                Ms. Lavens retired from Jackpine Inn Restaurant of Harrison after thirty-three years of waitressing. Judy was a past member of the Harrison Lioness Club as well as the Hayes Township Neighborhood Watch program. Judy enjoyed playing bingo with her mother for many years as well as selling their crafts at the Clare County Fair. Judy enjoyed crafting, solving puzzles, watching television, and reading.

                Surviving Ms. Lavens is her uncle, David E. Terrill Sr. and wife Wanda of Clare, Michigan, her aunt, Sally Jordan and husband Gene of Fort Worth, Texas, one brother in-law, Paul Sevener of Harrison, two nephews; Adam Sevener and wife Krystal of Dryden, Michigan and Bret Sevener of Michigan, plus numerous cousins. Judy was preceded by her parents, one sister, Betty Sevener and one brother, Thomas W. Lavens Jr.

                Memorial Mass service for Ms. Lavens will be held Saturday, June 18, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. from St. Athanasius Catholic Church, 310 S. Broad Street, Harrison, with Rev. Father J. Marcel Portelli officiating. A time of gathering will take place on Saturday, June 18, 2022, from 9:30 a.m. until time of Mass. Inurnment will be in St. Athanasius Catholic Cemetery, Harrison.
