JUANITA ANN LEWIS

Juanita Ann Lewis 76 of Harrison passed away Friday, September 20, 2019 at McLaren Bay Region Hospital, Bay City, Michigan. Juanita was born January 14, 1943 in Farmington, Michigan the daughter of Ralph and Martha (Clayton) Earls. Juanita was united in marriage to Mr. Eldon Leonard Lewis on December 13, 1969 in Farmington. On December 13, 2017, Mr. Eldon L. Lewis preceded Juanita in death after forty-eight years of marriage.

                Mrs. Lewis had resided in Harrison since 1977, moving from Farmington. Juanita enjoyed making authentic Native American memorabilia, knitting, crocheting, working with ceramics, selling her crafts at the Harrison Flea Market. Listening to Tom Jones songs was a favorite pastime of Juanita’s.

                Cherishing Juanita are her four sons; Timothy Reed of Harrison, James Reed of Farmington Hills, Michigan, David Reed of Southwest, Michigan and Eldon Lewis of Harrison, twelve grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, her special aunt, Elizabeth “Cissy” Mongeon of Harrison, many nieces, nephews and her beloved dog, Tinkerbell. Juanita also was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Fred Clayton.

                Private family memorial services for Juanita will take place at a later date. Inurnment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Harrison.
