JOSEPH “JOE” MICHAEL RODENISH SR.

                Joseph Michael Rodenish Sr. age 84 of Harrison passed away at his home Sunday, January 1, 2022. Joseph was born September 14, 1937 in Ida May, West Virginia the son of Michael F. Rodenish and Polly M. (Payne) Rodenish. Joe had resided in Harrison since 1947, moving from Ida May.

                Mr. Rodenish was united in marriage to Ms. Audrey L. Christie on September 26, 1956 in Harrison. Joe was a member of Operating Engineers 324 and Teamsters Union Local 406. Joseph enjoyed fishing, hunting, tinkering in his garage and watching televised NASCAR races, old westerns movies and shows.

                Surviving Mr. Rodenish is his wife of sixty-five years, Mrs. Audrey L. Rodenish of Harrison, three children; Joleen Churski of Boyne City, Michigan, Kevin Rodenish of Boyne City and Kathleen Gillespie and husband Daryl also of Boyne City, seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, eight siblings; Becky Chadwick and her companion, Lynn Nicolai of Harrison, Tom Rodenish and wife Francis of Morgantown, West Virginia, Linda McQuiston and husband Larry of Farwell, Michigan, Fred Rodenish and wife Karen of Harrison, Carolyn Pruden of Harrison and Darletta of Morgantown, West Virginia, Bill Rodenish of Harrison and Gary Rodenish of Harrison, plus many nieces, nephews and extended family. Mr. Rodenish was preceded in death by his parents, two sons; Joseph Michael Rodenish Jr. and Kent David Rodenish.
