JEFFREY “JEFF” DEAN BAILEY

                Jeffrey “Jeff” Dean Bailey, age 60 of Cheboygan, Michigan, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family. Jeffrey was born October 21, 1960 in Clare, Michigan the son of Marvin Allen Bailey and Ethel Pearl (Wilson) Bailey. Jeffrey graduated from Harrison High School in 1979. Jeff was united in marriage to Ms. Marge Mae Corbin on January 18, 1992 in Ontonagon, Michigan. Jeff and Marge had resided in Ontonagon for many years, prior to relocating to Cheboygan, Michigan in 2016.

                Surviving Mr. Bailey is his wife of twenty-nine years, Mrs. Marge Mae Corbin of Cheboygan, nine children: Aaron (Jonathan) Bunch of Glennville, Georgia, Michael (Sarah) Bailey of Marysville, Michigan, Cody (Brittina) Dantzscher of Prior Lake, Minnesota, Zackrey (Abby) Bailey of Harrison, Madison Mast also of Harrison, Sidnea (Adam) Kiester of Newport News, Virginia, Hank Bailey of Fernley, Nevada, Samantha “Sam” Bailey of Cheboygan and Andalee “Andy” Bailey also of Cheboygan, Jeff’s mother, Mrs. Ethel P. Bailey of Harrison, four grandchildren: Jayden Bailey, Olivia Bailey, Savanaha Bunch and Memphis Bunch, two sisters: Jenelle Bailey of Romulus, Michigan and Julie (Barry) Wallace of Harrison,  two brothers: Jesse (Annette) Bailey of Standish, Michigan and Jerry Bailey of Harrison, many nieces, nephews, extended family member, close friends: Dave (Marilyn) Fuller of Ontonagon, Hank (Margo) Wilbur of Texas and Sam De Foy of  Loomis, Michigan and the family dog, Toby. Mr. Bailey was preceded in death by his father, Mr. Marvin Allen Bailey.

                Many family members and friends stated: “I’m a better person because of Jeff”, or he was my best friend. Jeff worked very hard as a logger, but he always made time for his family and friends as he had a big kind heart. Jeff loved nature and watching old western television shows, especially the ones starring his idol, John Wayne.

                A private Life Celebration service honoring Mr. Bailey will be held at a later date.
