JEAN ANNE LANE

                Jean Anne Lane age 93 of Harrison, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at The Horizon Senior Living of Gladwin. Jean was born October 26, 1928 in Alma, Michigan the daughter of Roy and Clara (Reed) Knapp. Jean was united in marriage to Mr. James Henry Lane on September 19, 1946 at Brown Corners Church, Clare. Mr. Lane preceded Jean in death in 1981.

                Mrs. Lane had resided in Harrison since 1977, moving from Saginaw, Michigan. Jean was a member and attended First Baptist Church, Clare, Michigan. She enjoyed working in her yard, reading and quilting, especially her lap blankets.

                Surviving Mrs. Lane are her two grandchildren: Michelle Mullin and Billy Halstead, three great-grandchildren: Emily, Mitchell and wife Kellie and Travis, daughter in law, Carol Jarvis, many loving nieces and nephews and special friends: Nancy Hawkins and Judy Hills. Mrs. Lane also was preceded in death by her parents, two sons: Larry Lane and Billy Lane, one granddaughter, Robbie Lane, two sisters: Ellen Ulch and Pauline Rhode and five brothers: Dale Knapp, Lee Roy Knapp, Glen Knapp, Richard Knapp and Lloyd Knapp.      

                Funeral services for Mrs. Lane will be held Monday, August 22, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. from Clark-Stocking Funeral Chapel and Cremation Service with Pastor Ron Callen officiating. Visitation will take place on Monday from 11:00 a.m. until time of service. Burial will immediately follow service at Arthur Township Cemetery, Clare.
