Jay Dean Blackledge

Jay Dean Blackledge, 74 of Harrison passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2025.  Mr. Blackledge was born on November 17, 1950, the son of Jake and Mildred E. (Price) Blackledge.  Jay was a life resident of Harrison.  Jay served in the Army.  Jay had been a member of Iron Workers Local 25 for more than thirty years.  Our love for you will last forever, as will the memories we have shared.  Surviving Jay is his wife, Bev, his sister Joy Gierucki and husband Ray of Detroit, Michigan and Karen LeRoux and husband Craig of Brownburg, Indiana, his brother Douglas Blackledge and wife Sam of Las Vegas, Nevada and also survived by his many nieces, nephews, cousin and step-kids in his heart.  Mr. Blackledge was preceded in death by his father and mother and sister Judy Ann Brenner, and three brothers: Lonnie Dale Blackledge, Kenneth Lee Blackledge, and Clifford Gene Blackledge.  Jay’s body was donated to U of M.  No service is planned at this time.
