JANIE ELLEN SHEEHAN

                Janie Ellen Sheehan 74 of Harrison passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at Medilodge of Clare. Janie was born June 10, 1947, in Detroit, Michigan the daughter of Ralph Bernard Brighton and Maude Ellen (Winkler) Brighton. Janie graduated from Mackenzie High School in 1965.

                Ms. Sheehan had resided in Harrison for many years, moving from Novi, Michigan. Prior to moving to Harrison, Janie worked several years as a payroll clerk for Ceridian of Southfield, Michigan. After relocating in Harrison, Janie was employed with Harrison Do it Best Lumber as a stock person. Janie enjoyed playing tennis, being outdoors and dancing.

                Janie is survived by her brother, Dick Brighton of Harrison, two sisters in – law; Geri Brighton of Harrison and Ann Brighton of Livonia, Michigan, three nephews; Bill Brighton and wife Brandy, Jeffrey White and wife Leslee and Ed Guldner and wife Michelle, one great-niece, Haley Brighton, five great-nephews; Dylan White, Cody Gardner, Michael Guldner, Evan Guldner and Wyatt Brighton, one great-great nephew, Rayden Gardner. Ms. Sheehan was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers; Bill Brighton and Ralph Brighton and one sister, Sherry Neely.

                Funeral services honoring Janie will be held Monday, January 10, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. from Stocking Funeral Home, 165 West Oak Street, Harrison, with Pastor Connie Bongard officiating. Visitation will take place on Monday, January 10, 2022, from 11:30 a.m. until time of service.
