James Stewart O’Toole 51 of Harrison passed away suddenly on Monday, August 26, 2019 at his home. James was born January 5, 1968 in Pontiac, Michigan the son of Carol Ann Strouse. James graduated high school in 1986 from Harrison Community Schools.

James had resided in Harrison since 1968, coming from Pontiac. He spent twelve years working as an electrician with Buyers Electric Inc. of Harrison and several years as an Assistant Manager with Continental Home Center-Clare. James enjoyed hunting, fishing, target shooting, collecting various types of guns and bows. James was a football fanatic; he had a vast knowledge of the stats of every professional football player throughout the years. James considered himself very athletic, he enjoyed lifting weights and was known for his talent of walking on his hands.

Surviving Mr. O’Toole are his three children, one daughter, Jasmine Rae O’Toole and fiancé, Logan Sanderson of Harrison, two sons; Joshua O’Toole of Harrison and Justin O’Toole also of Harrison, four grandchildren; Dayton Meranda, Peyton Rae O’Toole, Matthew Mullin and Kinsley Rae Sanderson, plus numerous nieces and nephews. James was preceded in death by his mother that raised him, Alice Czarnecki and his Papa Czarnecki, one grandson, Jayce O’Toole and his beloved dog, BigFoot.

Celebration of Life services honoring Mr. O’Toole will take place Saturday, August 31, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. from Long Lake Free Church, Harrison with Pastor Christopher Saint officiating.
