Irish Festival Grand Marshal Nominations Due Jan. 31

 Planning for the event that sings aloud the Irish heart of the City of Clare is underway. That planning includes the search for the 2022 Clare Irish Festival Grand Marshal. The rules are simple: the Grand Marshal must be either one person or a couple, and must be available to participate in the March 19 parade. Extra consideration will be given to individuals who are or have been dedicated to Clare and its surrounding areas; individuals who are active in community services, volunteer and charitable work, as well as civic organizations.

The nomination guidelines and form can be found on the Clare Area Chamber of Commerce website: www.claremichigan.com and must be submitted no later than 5 p.m. Jan. 31. The forms may be emailed to manager@claremichigan.com or returned to the Chamber office at 201 W. Fourth St. in Clare.
