Hole in One at Devil’s Knob

Aug. 26 was a great day for golf for John Machnak of Lake. He used his “6” iron to ace the No. 2 hole at Devil’s Knob! The Wilson Staff ball went nicely over the pond, bounced twice before rolling into the hole, providing excitement for his group.

Witnessing this coveted shot were Cathy and Wayne Morgan, and Brett and Nancy Moore. His wife, Pam, did not see him swing but verified the ball was in the hole.

The group phoned the clubhouse to share their excitement. When they finished the round, John was presented with a trophy in which to display the ball. His total score for the game was 36. Congratulations, John, on a great game and a spectacular shot.
