The Harrison volleyball team didn’t waste much time in taking care of visiting Pinconning on Wednesday, Oct. 2. The Lady Hornets handled the Lady Spartans in three, giving them the victory in the Jack Pine Conference Division 2 match, 26-24, 25-16 and 25-20.
The Hornets had Mya Gardner run the setter position well, getting 10 assists, four aces and 22 digs. Lydia Kendall led the squad in kills with 10 and she also contributed with four aces and five digs.
The Hornets also had a home league win over Meridian on Sept. 25. They claimed the victory in straight sets in this one as well, 25-14, 25-15 and 27-25.
Harrison had a home match with Farwell on Wednesday and travels to Ogemaw Heights on Monday. They’ll also host Bullock Creek on Wednesday, Oct. 16.
