Harrison Man Arrested on Multiple Charges

On, Wednesday, September 2^nd, 2020 at approximately 5:30 p.m., Clare County Sheriff’s Department attempted to conduct a traffic stop for a vehicle that disregarded a stop sign near Old County Farm and Mostetler Road in the City of Harrison. The driver attempted to flee in the vehicle for a few miles before coming to a stop on South bound US 127. The driver, a 26-year-old male from Harrison was placed under arrest.  Upon a search of the vehicle Deputies located pipes used for smoking methamphetamine that still contained powder that field tested positive for methamphetamine.  Also located in the vehicle was a concealed weapon.

On 09/03/2020 Dustin James Lierman was arraigned in the 80^th District court on the charges of Controlled substance possession of methamphetamine, Weapons carrying concealed, Police officer fleeing 4^th degree, and driving while license suspended.  His bond was set at $20,000.00 cash / surety / 10%.  Dustin Lierman was able to post bond on 9/3/2020 and was released from the Clare County Jail.
