WEXFORD COUNTY, MI. On Monday, December 11, 2023, at approximately 12:30 a.m. troopers from the Michigan State Police (MSP) Cadillac Post stopped a vehicle on Works Avenue near Plett Road in Haring Township. The driver took an extended amount of time to come to a stop and was making furtive movements inside the car. Troopers observed a torch on the driver’s lap. The driver, a 30-year-old man from Harrison, had a glass case that was visible sticking out of the driver door pocket. Inside the case troopers found glass pipes with burnt residue believed to be methamphetamine.
The driver also had approximately three grams of methamphetamine in his pant pocket. The items tested positive for methamphetamine. The man was lodged in the Wexford County Jail pending arraignment.
