Glenn Wilbur Greenway Jr., 66 of Harrison passed away Friday, August 23, 2019 at MidMichigan Medical Center-Midland. Glenn was born July 3, 1953 in Royal Oak, Michigan to Glenn Wilbur Greenway  and Margaret Eloise (Willis) Greenway. Glenn graduated high school in 1971 from Kimball High School, Royal Oak. On December 10, 1979, Glenn was united in marriage to Ms. Rose Ann Murphy in Royal Oak.

Mr. Greenway had resided in Harrison since 2006, moving from Berkley, Michigan. Glenn was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #3541 of Harrison and a former member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #2235 also of Harrison. Glenn enjoyed throwing darts, playing guitar, surfing the internet, taking pontoon rides on Long Lake, following NASCAR races, reading books on histories sociopaths. He was a bitter Detroit Lions fan and a fanatic of various cartoons.

Surviving Mr. Greenway is his loving wife and best friend of thirty-nine years, Mrs. Rose A. Greenway of Harrison, one daughter, Kim Boggon and husband Derek of Berkley, one son, Glenn W. Greenway III and wife Mallory of Royal Oak, Michigan, six grandchildren; Joshua Harrington, Jasmin Harrington, Glenn W. Greenway IV, Drake Greenway, Derek Boggon Jr. and Drew Boggon, two sisters; Shirley “Bootsie” Weber and husband Roger of Troy, Michigan and Wendy Edwards and husband Mark of Harrison, his mother in-law, Marilyn M. Murphy of Trenton, Michigan, plus many loving nieces and nephews who fondly referred to Glenn as their “Guncle”. Mr. Greenway was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, John “Al” Greenway, his father in-law, William James Murphy and his beloved cat(s), Red.

Celebration of Life honoring Mr. Greenway will be held Saturday, August 31, 2019 from 1:00-5:00 p.m. at the Greenway residence.
