Glenn Leonard Weaver age 84 of Harrison passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at MyMichigan Medical Center-Midland. Glenn was born October 8, 1938, in Tecumseh, Michigan the son of Glenn J. Weaver and Pauline Iva (Hooper) Weaver. Glenn was united in marriage to Ms. Judith Mae Campbell on September 23, 1961, at Our Savior Lutheran Church, Grand Rapids, Michigan. Glenn spent many years as a self-employed television and electronics repairman in Gladwin, Michigan. Glenn was an Eagle Scout, as well as a Cub Master and Scout Master for many years. He enjoyed helping boys and young men with the principles of scouting. Glenn and Judith were instrumental in founding and building Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, Gainesville, Virginia while residing there.             Mr. Weaver had resided in Harrison since 2016, moving from Dahlgren, Virginia. He was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church, Harrison. Glenn enjoyed hunting, fishing, operating Ham Radio, going by the call signal of: K8JOI. He also enjoyed all electronics and computers, watching old western movies, especially when John Wayne was the star. His family is left to cherish his beautiful wood working creations that he created with skill and love.

            Surviving Glenn is his loving wife and best friend of sixty-one years, Mrs. Judith Mae Weaver of Harrison, three loving children: Wanda J. Fife of Fredericksburg, Virginia, Larraine M. Weaver of Petersburg, Virginia, and Glenn J. Weaver also of Petersburg, four grandchildren: Ginger N. Limerick, Melissa R. Fife, Alex C. Weaver, and Olivia R. Weaver, one great-granddaughter, Max G. Limerick, many nieces, nephews, extended family members and his good friend and caregiver, Chris Churchill and family of Harrison. Mr. Weaver was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers: Lawrence Louis Weaver, Paul J. Weaver, and Joseph “Bruce” Weaver.

            Memorial services honoring Mr. Weaver will be held Monday, January 30, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Luke Lutheran Church, 616 South Fourth Street, Harrison, with Pastor Timothy Sheridan officiating. A reception will immediately follow services at St. Luke Lutheran Church. Memorial gifts in memory of Mr. Weaver may be considered to the Weaver Family, in care of: Judith Mae Weaver.
