Gladwin Woman Arrested for Assault in Hamilton Township

On 04/19/2020, at approximately 4:50 p.m, Clare County Central Dispatch received a call of an assault that just occurred Hamilton Township, Harrison, MI.  The reporting victim advised 25-year-old female had crashed a vehicle into her vehicle, and then used a knife in an attempt to stab the victim. The reporting party advised that a 1-year-old child was in her car during the crash.

Deputies responded to the scene and located the suspects’ vehicle who fled the scene.  The suspect vehicle was stopped and the driver identified as Alyson Jacques, a 25-year-old female from Gladwin.  Alyson Jacques was arrested and transported to the Clare County Jail.

On Tuesday 4/21/2020 Alyson Jacques was arraigned in the 80th District Court by Magistrate Worpell.  Alyson Jacques was charged with assault with a dangerous weapon, Police Officer fleeing 4th degree, and child abuse 4th degree.  Magistrate Worpell set her bond at $50,000 cash / surety / 10%.
