GERALD “GERRY” WILSON TEDROW

                Gerald “Gerry” Wilson Tedrow 68 of Michigan Center, Michigan, passed away suddenly at MyMichigan Medical Center-Midland. Gerald was born July 8 1953 in Cameron City, West Virginia the son of Lloyd Gorby Tedrow and Mary Lou (Brewer) Tedrow. Gerry graduated from Harrison Community Schools in 1971. Mr. Tedrow enlisted in the United States Army and honorably served his country for over three years. Gerry was united in marriage to Ms. Nancy Ann Henry on December 24, 1971 in Harrison.

                Gerry had resided in Michigan Center since 2007, moving from Jackson, Michigan. Mr. Tedrow retired from the cable television industry after forty years of service as an installer, line technician supervisor and general manager. Gerry was a member of the American Legion Post 404 of Harrison and Fraternal Order of Eagles #3634 of Michigan Center, Michigan. Gerry enjoyed boating, fishing, woodworking, watching NASCAR racing, Detroit Tigers Baseball, John Wayne movies, Band of Brothers, NCIS and Law and Order. Gerry was considered a compulsive reader; Gerry also played guitar, steel guitar and sang with several country and western bands for thirty plus years.

                Surviving Mr. Tedrow is his wife of fifty years, Mrs. Nancy Ann Tedrow of Michigan Center, two sons; Jason Tedrow and wife Jennifer of Naperville, Illinois and Nicholaus Tedrow and wife Jamie of Michigan Center, seven grandchildren; Rebecca Cornwell, Emilie Tedrow, Cydnie Tedrow, Andrew Tedrow, Maisie Tedrow, Addison Tedrow and Connor Tedrow, two great-grandchildren; Gage Cornwell and Aliyah Cornell, four siblings; Marlena Haefele and husband Dennis of Barstow, California, Robert Corbin Jr. of Harrison, Margie Bailey of Cheboygan, Michigan and Shannon Cottrell of Tennessee, one step-sister, Kathleen Conklin of St. Louis, Michigan, one step-brother, Mike Hein of Harrison, his special aunt, Lou Cornwell and husband John Dragon of Lansing, Michigan, many nieces, nephews and extended family members. Mr. Tedrow was preceded in death by his parents, two step-fathers; Robert Corbin and Al Hein, two brothers; Wally Hein and Jim Corbin and one niece, Audrey Corbin.

                Life Celebration and Military Honors services for Mr. Tedrow will be held in the summer of 2022 at the American Legion Post 404 of Harrison. Inurnment will be at Fort Custer National Cemetery, Augusta, Michigan.
