GEORGIA ALICE ROACH

                Georgia Alice Roach age 91 of Harrison, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, December 24, 2021. Georgia was born October 6, 1930 in Akron, Michigan the daughter of Oscar Nixon and Maude (Keiser) Nixon. Georgia was united in marriage to Mr. Alfred Ray Roach in 1950 in Cass City, Michigan.

                Mrs. Roach had resided in Harrison since 1985, moving from Drayton Plains, Michigan. Georgia was very passionate about her vegetable and floral gardens. She loved feeding the birds, watching the wildlife around her home, daily journal entries and baking and cooking for her family.

                Surviving Mrs. Roach is her loving husband, Mr. Alfred Ray Roach of Harrison, three sons; Robert “Bob” Roach and wife Sheila of Waterford, Michigan, David “Dave” Roach of Harrison and Andrew “Andy” Roach also of Harrison, seven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, one sister, Dorothy McFarland and husband Melvin of Cass City. Mrs. Roach was preceded in death by her parents and seven brothers and sisters.

                Funeral services honoring Mrs. Roach will be held Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. from Stocking Funeral Home, Harrison. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. until time of service. Burial will be in Pleasant Plains Cemetery, Harrison.
