Frostbite Winter Festival 2020

Brochures and buttons are available at the following locations in Airport Restaurant, American Legion Post 404, Bob’s Party Store, Budd Lake Bar and Restaurant, Clare County Cleaver, Harrison City Hall, Harrison Lumber Do-It Center, Harrison Eagles Club, Harrison Lions Club, Harrison Moose Lodge, Harrison Pharmacy, Jackpine Restaurant, Ken’s Landing, Kleen Gene’s Laundromat, Reinke’s Hearth of the Home, Steve’s Country Market, and Up North Coffee.

Not Just for Adults

There are lots of activities for children this year at the Frostbite Winter Festival. A children’s carnival will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22 at the Harrison Lions Club will include a small petting zoo, body art, indoor games and crafts, prizes and a chance to win an Amazon HD Fire 7 tablet. A Frostbite button is required for entry, available at the door.

The Harrison Moose is hosting a vendor fair on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Clark the Juggler will perform at the Moose at noon, 1:15 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. A lollipop wheel gives one a chance to win a free tablet!

Thursday, February 20
Frostbite Kick-Off Party  •5 - 7 pm • Budd Lake Bar
WUPS Radio Station will be doing a live remote, in addition to giving away a $500
advertising package; Ace of Spades Reverse Raffle; Auction first jump for Polar Dip;
Refreshments; Cash Bar; 50/50 Raffle; & More. General public is welcome! Must have
$5 Frostbite Button, which will be available a t the door.
Friday, February 21
Party Bus Tour • 5 pm to 10 pm
Get on the bus & take a tour of Harrison’s Bars! $10 plus your Frostbite Button gets you
a designated driver to several area bars. Check-in at Scooter’s Airport Bar at 5:30 pm!
Buses will return to Scooter’s Airport Bar around 10 pm. Limited seating available, so advance registration suggested. Frostbite Button and valid ID required to participate.
Saturday, February 22
Arts & Crafts Vendors Fair•9-3 pm•Harrison Moose Lodge
Score some great deals on handmade items from local artisans! Also, come see Clark the Juggler at Noon, 1:15 pm, & 2:30 pm. Plus take a turn at the Lollipop Wheel for a chance to win a Free Tablet . Call 539-6011 for more details .
Silent Auction • 9 am–3 pm & 6 pm-8 pm at the Moose Lodge
Come place a bid on some great items. Gift certificates, items by Local Artisans, gifts for the whole family and more!
6th Annual Polar Dip
Registration: 9:30 am at the Budd
Lake Power Docks (Saxton Landing)
10 am: Take the Plunge!
Cost is $10.00/person plus your Frostbite Button;

Sponsor money raised donated to the Veterans Freedom Park.
Turkey Bowling On Budd Lake •11-1 pm Power Docks
Bowl with a turkey on the ice! No pre-registration required; just show up! $5/per son plus your Frostbite But ton gets you in the game.
Outhouse Races
Registration: 11 am Budd Lake • Races Start at 11:30!
Teams of two race their homemade Outhouse down the ice! Race for the Golden or Silver Plunger. Prizes for Best In Theme. $10 to race, call or meet us on the

Chili Cook-Off & Soup Community Event (no button needed)

Beer Tent • Opens at Noon• Saxton’s Landing Power Docks
Come party with us next to Budd Lake! We’ll have music & ser ving cold beer in the Pump House at the Power Docks.
