Farwell Pastor Arraigned on CSC Charge

The Clare County Sheriff’s Office received a report of CSC 2^nd on March 5, 2024, that had occurred in the Village of Farwell, Township of Surrey, in Clare County between Harold Norman Cole Jr. and a juvenile male. The victim, who lived out of state, reported the incident to authorities where he resides. CSC 2^nd involves sexual contact with force or coercion, or with a victim who is under 13 years of age. This crime is punishable by up to 15 years in prison.

 Detectives conducted an investigation into this crime and obtained a warrant for Cole’s arrest. Deputies took Harold Norman Cole Jr. into custody for this crime and lodged him in the Clare County Jail. He was arraigned by the 80^th District Court and released on a $20,000 bond with 10% surety, and currently is on GPS tether. Cole is currently a pastor at the Trinity Baptist Church in Farwell, Michigan.
