DONALD K. DAVIS SR.

Donald "Don" K. Davis Sr. age 66 of Harrison passed away Sunday, January 15, 2023, at Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital, Grand Rapids after a long and courageous battle. Donald was born March 7, 1956, in Hamilton Township, Clare County, Michigan the son of Gerald and Dorma (LaVoye) Davis. Don was united in marriage to Ms. Sarah Jean Adsit on December 17, 1982, in Bushnell, Florida.

Mr. Davis returned to Harrison in 1993, moving from Wildwood, Florida. Don was a residential carpenter for his entire adulthood. Don's most memorable time was spent with his family, something he loved doing, especially when it involved family corn hole tournaments and nerf gun shootouts at Christmas. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, mushroom hunting and rock picking.

Surviving Mr. Davis is his best friend and wife of forty years, Mrs. Sarah Jean Davis of Harrison, his loving children; Donald K. Davis Jr. and wife Sarah of Harrison, Brandie Lynn Pike and her significant other, James Sylvester of Harrison, Timothy Davis and wife Jessica of Harrison and Justin Davis and his significant other, Dee of Harrison, fourteen grandchildren; Wesley, Donald Ill, Joshua, Ema, Mason, Seth, Hunter, Gregory, Rielee, Makenna, Ava, Mikey, Mya and Nova, two great-grandsons; Ahlias and Watson, one son­in-law, Julian Pike of Kentucky, six siblings; Jerry Davis of Harrison, Sharon Smith of Harrison, Russell Davis also of Harrison, Edward Davis and wife Martha of Harrison, Mitchell Davis and wife Leslie of Kentucky and Terisa Moore and husband Dean of North Carolina, one sister-in-law, Annie Davis of Harrison, plus many nieces, nephews and extended family members. Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Bettie Riley, two brothers; David Davis and Lyle Davis and two sister-in-law's, Dorothy Davis, and Muriel Davis.

Celebration of Life services honoring Don will be held Saturday, January 21, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. from Clark-Stocking Funeral Chapel and Cremation Service, 165 West Oak Street, Harrison. Family and friends are encouraged to gather for a time of sharing on Saturday, January 21, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. until time of service.
