DENISE LORA HAWKINS

                Denise Lora Hawkins, 62 of rural Harrison passed away Saturday, January 11, 2020 at MidMichigan Medical Center-Midland. Denise was born May 23, 1957 in Lansing, Michigan the daughter of Dennis Ray Williams and Lora E. (Alexander) Williams.

                Mrs. Hawkins had resided in Harrison since June 6, 1986, moving from Lansing. Denise enjoyed sewing, floral gardening, cooking meals for her family, watching television, especially when she could watch an episode of Game of Thrones or Vikings with her family or her dear sister-friend, Claudia.

                Surviving Mrs. Hawkins are her two sons; David Hawkins of Texas and Kristapher Hawkins of Harrison, eleven grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and the soon arrival in March of her seventh, sister-friend, Claudia LaSanta of Tampa, Florida, one uncle, Chuck Alexander, one aunt, Sharon Alexander, many nieces, nephews and her beloved cat, Mr. Finnegan. Denise was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Ray Williams.

                A Celebration Gathering to honor and remember Denise will be held Tuesday, January 21, 2020 from 2:00 -5:00 p.m. at Stocking Funeral Home, Harrison.
