David Rhonald Rhein, Sr.

David Rhonald Rhein Sr., age 81, of Harrison passed away peacefully on Monday, October 28, 2024, at Marlette Regional Hospital, Hospice Floor, Marlette, Michigan. David was born the son of Adam John Rhein and Frances Madalin (Miller) Rhein on August 28, 1943, in Elba, Township, Lapeer County, Michigan. David was united in marriage to Ms. Marjorie Mae Higley on June 4, 1977. Marjorie preceded David in death on December 27, 2021, after forty-four years of marriage.

                Mr. Rhein had resided in Harrison since 1985, moving from Lapeer, Michigan. David was extremely musically talented, he accelerated in playing guitar, keyboard, spoons, singing and writing music. He also enjoyed watching televised WWE wrestling as well as Buffy the Vampire Slayer series.

                David is survived by his seven children; David Rhein Jr. and wife Erica of London, Ohio, Howard Judd and wife Dina of Harrison, Irene Ladra and husband Joe of Howard City, Michigan, Kristine Davis and husband Chris of Lapeer, Michigan, Kelly-Sue Kaylor and husband Barry of Oxford, Michigan, Patricia Johnston and husband Bill of Harrison and Michael Rhein and wife Stephani of Caro, Michigan, eighteen grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, plus many extended family members. David also was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Kattrena O’Day and one granddaughter, Brandi Calenza.
